Investigation into DSGMC fund embezzlement case reopens against Manjit Singh GK

NEW DELHI, India—DSGMC member Gurmeet Singh Shanty, who had filed a lawsuit against the former DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK for allegedly making corruption, has said that he won’t refrain from approaching the Supreme Court to get punished the one who made corruption in DSGMC.

He informed that the Court has annulled the closure report submitted by the Delhi police while raising questions over the investigation carried out by the Delhi police against Manjit Singh GK, former Joint Secretary Amarjit Singh Fateh Nagar and former general manager Harjit Singh.

Shanty further said that he has been whistling about the Delhi police’s “understanding” with the guilty persons from the very first day. “Now, the Court has ordered re-investigation of the case under the supervision of Delhi’s Police Commissioner while raising questions over the investigation,” he informed while adding that now the inquiry report will get signed by the Joint Commissioner rank officer on the 15th of every month.

He said that he has brought three cases of money embezzlement and financial irregularities in DSGMC before the court till date. Now, the Court will conduct next hearing in this case on June 3 to add more sections against the accused.
