:dateline:On May 6, the Congress led Punjab government told the Punjab & Haryana High Court that the former Akali MLA Mantar Singh Brar is not cooperating with the Special Investigation Team. Notably, Mantar Singh Brar was directed to support the SIT by the High Court.
Appearing for the Punjab government, the Additional Advocate General Gaurav Dhuriwala told the High Court that Mantar Singh Brar has joined investigation, but he is not revealing the details of conversation he had with the former Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal during the intervening night of October 13 and 14. �
Although, the prosecution lawyer sought time for debate on this issue, but the High Court bench of Justice Manoj Bajaj adjourned the hearing onto May 27.
