:dateline:Mr. Imran Khan, the prime minister of Pakistan, has expressed hope that Pakistan’s relations with India will become normal after the parliamentary elections in India. He has termed the ongoing bitterness between India and Pakistan as the only problem for peace and stability in the region.
Addressing the second program of the Belt and Road Forums at China International Cultural Communication Center on April 27, Imran Khan said that the stability of the region is necessary for Pakistan’s economic prosperity. Pakistan’s relations with other neighboring countries are good, but the bitterness in relations with India is a big problem, he stated while adding that the Pakistan government is working on solving this problem.
Imran Khan also discussed the situation of his neighbor country Afghanistan. He said that a political solution would be successful in Afghanistan and then the border areas Pakistan will remain peaceful. He said that he is also making efforts to strengthen relations with Iran.
It is pertinent to note here that the saffron BJP had put the regional peace at severe risk by dropping payloads in Pakistani region last month. Although the BJP left no stone unturned to earn respect among Indian nationalists by playing a high pitch drama against Pakistan, but still the Pakistani PM Imran Khan showed patience and generosity in tackling this situation.
