Don’t Give Any Further Kaar Sewa to Baba Jagtar Singh, recommends SGPC’s Probe Committee

:dateline:In its preliminary report submitted to the SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal on April 5, the SGPC appointed Investigation Committee has recommended that the Kaar Sewa sect headed by Baba Jagtar Singh should not be granted Kaar Sewa of any Sikh shrine in the future. Beside it, the Investigation Committee has also endorsed to lodge a police complaint against the “accused”.

An SGPC press release reveals that the SGPC will reconstruct the demolished upper domes of the historic Darshani Deodi within six months under the inchargeship of experts. Further, the committee has also decided to take up the issue at Sri Akal Takht Sahib as it is a violation of religious code of conduct. ����

On being contacted by media, SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal said that the SGPC was bound to implement the recommendations of its investigation committee.

It may be recalled here that the SGPC had appointed an investigation committee comprising of SGPC members Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Bhai Ram Singh and S. Gurmeet Singh Booh to investigate the incident of demolition of historic Darshani Deodi of Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib.
