Scuttling Kartarpur Corridor Project Will Encourage Violent Outfits, says Navjot Sidhu

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The Punjab Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has become a soft target for the Indian nationalists for his remark on the recent attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama, has said that the Pakistan-based organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed will get encouraged if the Indian government scuttles the Kartarpur corridor project. Sidhu said this while interacting with the media persons in Ludhiana on February 16 where he was shown black flags by the BJP activists for his remark.

Notably, Navjot Sidhu had earlier said that the Pakistan government could not be accused of the violent activities being carried out by handful violence loving outfits.

Demanding punishment for those involved in this dastardly act, Sidhu said that he stood by what he said earlier.

Can there be a question mark on decisions taken by the two Prime Ministers, Sidhu said, adding that the progress of a nation cannot stop because of a few violent elements.

When a politician visits, the whole city shuts down. But why proper security arrangements were not taken care of when 3,000 paramilitary cops are moving? Why there is no tracker or security?

Can a question mark be put on the Kartarpur corridor issue because of a few violent elements, he exclaimed.

It is pertinent to note here that the BJP led Indian government is expected to scuttle the Kartarpur corridor project after the recent IED attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that Navjot Singh Sidhu has been expelled from “The Kapil Sharma Show” for his remark on Pulwama attack. This show was the main source of earning livelihood for Navjot Sidhu.
