BAKU, Azerbaijan—In commemoration of the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, a religious program was organized by the Indian Embassy at a historic Sikh place visited by Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Baku (Azerbaijan) on February 10. SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal also attended this program.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Gobind Singh Longowal announced to build a beautiful Gurdwara Sahib at that place with the support of the local administration. He hailed the Indian diplomats and local Sikhs for organizing this special religious program in commemoration of Guru Sahib’s birth anniversary.
