Won’t Spare Anybody Found Responsible for Sacrilege and Police Firing Incidents, reiterates Captain

BATHINDA, Punjab—Interacting with media in Bathinda on January 28, the Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh stated that nobody found responsible for the sacrilege and police firing cases will be spared at any cost irrespective of the high position he holds. He added that the probe of Special Investigation Team will reach to a logical conclusion soon.

Talking about the recent arrest of the Ex-SSP Moga Charanjit Sharma, Captain said that it’s sure that Charanjit Sharma must have received directions from the upper authorities to open fire. “The SIT would identify those factors and the ones found guilty will be brought to justice soon” he added.

Captain Amarinder Singh also lashed out at Akalis for failing to book the sacrilege culprits and not accepting the recommendations of the Justice Zora Singh led Investigation Commission set up by them to probe the incidents.

Captain also accused the former Akali Dal led Punjab government for ruining the state economy while claiming that the number of farmer suicides and drug trade in Punjab fell down dramatically since he started ruling Punjab.
