CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The five member committee appointed by the Sarbat Khalsa appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara has called upon a meeting in Chandigarh on January 27 to chalk out strategy for reviving the Bargari agitation.
Sharing the development with media, the committee members Advocate Amar Singh Chahal and Bhai Narain Singh Chaura informed that a program about Bargari agitation might be chalked out quickly after the meeting however, a provision will be kept for taking the final decision about the chalked out program later.
“The five member committee by the Akal Takht Jathedar Jathedar Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara is not final and its members could be replaced” they added.
The duo leaders stated that there was a need to revive the Bargari agitation for forcing the Punjab government to punish sacrilege culprits, killer cops and release of political Sikh prisoners.
