Remember the Creator and the Almighty Saviour within your heart at all times and all moments. -Guru Arjun Sahib, Guru Granth Sahib, 1084

Message: Generally, most faiths or traditions have their own ways of worship and timings of prayers. Some adhere to twice a day, others three times a day, and yet others to five times a day or more. The verse above enlightens us regarding ‘auspicious times’ for saying prayers. It asks us to deem all the times and all the periods as equally sacred and sanctified.

Remember the Creator in your heart at all times of the day. A constant awareness and loving remembrance of the Divine will empower us in holding our sensual faculties in check at all times and will equip us to lead our life with better understanding and self-control.

Etymology: Combination of sabhe (all) + vakhat, from Arabic vaqt, (time).
