:dateline:The Special Investigation Team headed by IG Kuver Vijay Partap Singh reportedly interrogated the doctors on January 5 who had given medical treatment to the Sikhs injured in Kotkapura and Behbal Klan firing incidents. Notably, the unprovoked firing opened by the Punjab police cops on peacefully protesting Sikhs in Kotkapura and Behbal Klan had left several seriously injured while two Sikh youths had attained martyrdom in this firing.
Media reports reveal that the SIT interrogated Dr. Rajiv Joshi, Dr. Kapil Bansal, Dr. Harinder Gandhi and Dr. Manvir Gupta at its office in Faridkot. The development came after submission of documents about medical treatment by Ajit Singh, who is the chief witness of Kotkapura firing incident.
On being contacted by the media, IG Kuver Vijay Partap Singh said that the concerned doctors were interrogated about the legal medical reports of injured Sikhs.
