Kartarpur Corridor Project to Get Complete within a Year; 500 Sikhs will be Allowed Daily to Pay Obeisance at Historic Shrine

:dateline:Interacting with media on December 24 in Chandigarh, the Punjab Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu informed that the Kartarpur corridor project will get complete within a year. He added that the Pakistan government is working on double pace than the Indian government to complete this project.

Shedding light on the detailed planning of Pakistan government on this historic project, Sidhu informed that the Federal Investigation Agency of Pakistan has asked in a recommendation to the Pakistan government for fixing time from 9 am to 5 pm for the Indian Sikh devotees to pay obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib. �500 Sikh devotees will be allowed to pay obeisance at Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib daily� he added.

Sidhu further informed that 12 counters will be installed to check identity while allowing the Sikh pilgrims to enter into Pakistan. �The Kartarpur corridor will boost trade in Punjab and the people of the two countries will get closer� he added while disclosing the allotment of 25 acres of land to the hotels coming up near Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib.

Sidhu stated that he is doing everything to turn this dream of Kartarpur corridor into reality just for being a Sikh and he doesn�t want any credit. He also thanked those personalities who played a positive role in turning this dream of Sikh community into a reality.
