Sajjan Kumar Resigns from Primary Membership of Congress

NEW DELHI, India—After getting held guilty of brutally murdering innocent Sikhs during the 1984 Sikh genocide, the key perpetrator Sajjan Kumar today resigned from the primary membership of Congress party. Notably, the Delhi High Court had addressed punishment of life sentence to Sajjan Kumar December 17.

“I tender my resignation with immediate effect from the primary membership of the Indian National Congress in the wake of the judgment of the High Court of Delhi against me,” Sajjan Kumar said in his resignation letter to party president Rahul Gandhi.
