Message: We undeniably live in delusion. We see ourselves as merely physical beings and the world which we experience through our senses as reality. We are caught in this apparent reality of the world. This prevents us from knowing our essential nature and our eternal spirit. Such a state of delusion or ignorance is the cause of our unease as we doubt, wander and waver between faith and disbelief.�Few among us are aware of the role of the Divine in life.
The quote above reminds us to recognize the transient nature of our life. Human life is temporary and a transient experience. We are asked to look under the surface of our material and sensual needs and explore where these came from. Who gave us this gift of life? The Guru reminds us to be grateful to the Creator and Provider and not be unduly attached to the worldly things that He created.
