UK Parliamentarian Spends Night in Cardboard Box to Raise Funds for Homeless People

:dateline:To create awareness about the problems of homeless people and raising funds for helping them, the UK parliamentarian from Slough Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi along with his wife Manveen Kaur Dhesi spent a night in cardboard boxes.

Interacting with media, Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi said that there is a large population of homeless people in United Kingdom. He added that scores of casualties of homeless people in the past has compelled us to do the needful for them.

Dhesi further said that it is very difficult for one to spend a night without home and this difficulty increases even more during snowfall and rainfall. He appealed the common masses to come forward for helping the homeless people.

�With the help of about 100 volunteers,�The London and Slough Run Homeless Charity has collected nearly �40,000 for building a night shelter in Slough� he informed.
