SGPC President, Navjot Sidhu and Gurjit Aujla Departs for Attending Inauguration Ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor in Pakistan

:dateline:The SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal today departed from India to attend the inauguration ceremony of Kartarpur Sahib corridor in Pakistan to be held tomorrow. Notably, the foundation stone of the main part of the Kartarpur Sahib corridor will be laid by the Pakistan’s PM Mr. Imran Khan on November 28.

Sharing the development with media, SGPC spokesperson Diljit Singh Bedi informed that the SGPC president today departed from India via Attari-Wagha border stations for attending the inauguration ceremony in Pakistan. �Former SGPC member Bhai Uday Singh and regional manager of Golden Temple Rajinder Singh are accompanying the SGPC president during this visit� he added.

The SGPC president is expected to meet representatives of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (PSGPC) and Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) members regarding the 550th birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev Ji during this visit.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Punjab Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu and the Congress Parliamentarian Gurjit Singh Aujla also departed for Pakistan today.�
