:dateline:Keeping in view the upcoming 550th birthday celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the World Bhai Mardana Yaadgari Kirtan Darbar Society has appealed the federal government of Pakistan to increase the quota of visas for the Indian Sikh pilgrims.�
Sharing the development with media, the society�s president Harpal Singh Bhullar and general secretary Sarabjit Singh Chhabrha informed that they have sent written requests in this concern to the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and ETPB�s chairman Tariq Wazir Khan.
They informed that around 4500 Sikhs have deposited their passports this year with them for obtaining visa to Pakistan so that they could celebrate the 549th birthday at Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib on November 23. They added that a large number of Sikhs from India are willing to celebrate various other Gurpurabs also in Pakistan next year.
