:dateline:As per information shared by the former SGPC president S. Avtar Singh Makkar, the new president of Takht Sri Patna Sahib Management Committee will be elected on October 7 as he will get retired on the same day.
He informed that the meeting for electing the new president will be convened by the SGPC president S. Gobind Singh Longowal, DSGMC�s representative S. Avtar Singh Hit and the Chief Khalsa Diwan�s representative S. Surinder Singh.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that all the concerned Sikh bodies have nominated their candidates. The entire election process will be held under the surveillance of Bihar government.
