:dateline:In a major setback to Sukhbir Badal for his claims against the Bargari agitation, the Sarbat Khalsa appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Dhian Singh Mand has issued a warning to the Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh to stop playing with the sentiments of Sikh community on sacrilege issue and punish the sacrilege culprits at the earliest. It is notable here that Sukhbir Badal had blamed the Bargari agitation of being a Congress� tool to detach Sikh vote bank from the Shiromani Akali Dal.
In a joint statement issued today, Takht Jathedars Bhai Dhian Singh Mand and Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal have stated that the Sikh activists won�t refrain from surrounding Moti Mehal if Captain doesn�t stop playing friendly politics with Badals.
Terming the sacrilege issue as an extremely emotional one for Sikhs, Jathedar Mand said that the Bargari agitation would continue until the Sikh community doesn�t get justice on sacrilege issue. �We want the sacrilege culprits to be punished irrespective of the fact that which agency probes these unfortunate incidents� he added. �
Taking on Sukhbir Badal for terming the Bargari agitation as an ISI backed, Jathedar Mand said that Sukhbir Badal should learn it properly that the Sikhs sitting at Bargari agitation are those Sikhs who are struggling for getting punished those who desecrated their Guru Sahib.
Jathedar Mand has also refuted the allegations leveled against him by Sukhbir Badal of purchasing land by scamming Bargari agitation’s funds and said that he had purchased land in Bathinda several years ago but has got registered it now.
