Sikh Devotee Presents Gold Made Chaur Sahib at Sri Harmandir Sahib

CHANDIGARH—On September 9, a Sikh devotee named S. Tarlochan Singh Khalsa presented a Chaur Sahib at sanctum sanctorum Sri Harmandir Sahib which is made up of 250 grams of Gold. Head Granthi of Sri Harmandir Sahib Giani Jagtar Singh received this Chaur Sahib from S. Tarlochan Singh inside the sanctum sanctorum.

Interacting with media, the SGPC secretary Dr. Roop Singh said that the Chaur Sahib presented by S. Tarlochan Singh Khalsa is invaluable. He added that the Chaur Sahib has been decorated with special intricate designs by the artists.

S. Tarlochan Singh Khalsa was honored with ‘Siropao’ (robe of honor) by the Head Granthi Giani Jagtar Singh on this occasion amid presence of various other SGPC officials.
