:dateline:In a case pertaining to the murder of former RSS� state president Rulda �Singh�, the political Sikh prisoner Bhai Ramandeep Singh Goldy was presented before the Court of Additional District & Session Judge Dharminder Paul Singla in Patiala amid tight security on September 5. However, Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara was not produced before the Court by the Burail jail authorities.
Sharing the development with media, Bhai Tara�s legal counsel Advocate Barjinder Singh Sodhi informed that the Court has ordered to ensure the presence of Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara in the next hearing scheduled for September 24.
Rulda �Singh� was the state chief of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat (RSS) in Punjab. He was shot at outside his home on July 28, 2009 immediately after his return from England. He was rushed to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) where he succumbed on August 18, 2009.
A murder case was registered by the Patiala police in this concern under sections 302, 34 and several others in 2009. Bhai Ramandeep Singh Goldy and Bhai Jagtar Singh Tara were tried in this case after extraditing them Thailand and Malaysia respectively.
