:dateline:To put control over rising sacrilege incidents in Punjab, the Congress led Punjab government has directed the statewide Municipal Corporations, Municipal Committees and village Panchayats to install the CCTV cameras around religious places in their respective areas.
Sikh24 has learnt that the Captain Amarinder Singh led Punjab government has directed all these constitutional bodies to use their own funds to install CCTV cameras around Gurdwaras, Temples, Mosques, Churches and other prominent locations of their areas.
Captain�s move has come after the passing of a Bill in the Punjab government specifying life imprisonment for the sacrilege culprits.
