Bargari Sacrilege: CBI Interrogates Sirsa Cult Disciples in Delhi

:dateline:The CBI team investigating the sacrilege cases has taken up the three Sirsa cult disciples to Delhi for interrogation. Notably, the CBI team was given remand of three Sirsa cult disciples namely Mohinder Pal Bittu, Shakti �Singh� and Sukhjinder �Singh� alias Sunny till July 13 by the Mohali based special court of CBI on July 6.

Media reports reveal that the trio culprits have confessed their crimes of stealing the holy corpus from Burj Jawahar Singh Wala on June 1, 2015 and then scattering the sacred �Angs� in Bargari on October 12 before the CBI team. It is learnt that the CBI team headed by DIG Gagandeep Kaur is interrogating the trio culprits and the rest culprits might also be taken on remand after July 13.

It may be recalled here that the Punjab police�s Special Investigation Team had held more than 10 Sirsa disciples while investigating the sacrilege cases occurred in 2015. During investigation, it had come to fore that the Sirsa cult�s state committee member Mohinder Pal Bittu had orchestrated the plan to steal the holy corpus of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from Burj Jawahar Singh Wala and then hurt the Sikh sentiments by scattering sacred �Angs� in Bargari.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Cabinet Minister S. Trip Rajinder Singh Bajwa paid visit at Bargari on behalf of Punjab government on July 8. It is learnt that the Congress led Punjab government might accept the demands of Bargari agitation in coming days. �
