:dateline:Three Sirsa cult disciples namely Mohinder Pal Bittu, Shakti �Singh� and Sukhjinder �Singh� alias Sunny were produced before the Mohali based Special CBI Court on July 6 by the CBI team investigating the sacrilege cases. All of them were taken on production warrants from the Faridkot jail by the CBI team.
On the behalf of the CBI team, the prosecution lawyer told the Court that the trio culprits have confessed their crime of committing sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji before the Punjab police so the CBI team needs their remand for further interrogation.
The CBI�s demand was strongly opposed by the defense counsel Advocate Gurbhagat Singh Gill.
After hearing the arguments of prosecution and defense counsels, the Court sanctioned remand of trio culprits till July 13.
