:dateline:The apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has asked the Sikh devotees to submit their passports who are aspirant of attending the 549th birthday celebrations of first Sikh master Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Nankana Sahib. Notably, the Indian Sikh devotees are granted visas by the Pakistan government every year for celebrating the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
In a press note shared with Sikh24, the SGPC secretary Dr. Roop Singh has informed that the Sikh devotees aspirant of attending 549th birth anniversary celebrations could submit their passports at SGPC headquarters till August 6. He added that the Sikh aspirants are also required to submit a recommendation letter from the SGPC member of their corresponding jurisdictions along with their identity proof. �Xerox of Aadhar Card or Voter Card could be submitted as proof of identity� he said. ��
