:dateline:Expressing deep concern over the rising deaths of youths due to drug addiction in Punjab, the SGPC appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh has asked the Chief Minister of Punjab to fulfil his election promise of eradicating the Drug menace from Punjab. He has asked the Punjab CM to put control over Drug smugglers and traders by taking strict action against them.
Highly appreciating the Captain Amarinder Singh�s move of compensating Jodhpur detainees, Giani Gurbachan Singh asked him to deliver onto his promises made during the election of eradicating drug menace from Punjab.
Giani Gurbachan Singh said that the Punjab administration was quite keenly aware of the Drug smugglers as well as the traders in Punjab and the Drug menace could be eradicated within 8 hours if the Punjab government wanted to do so.
He has also appealed the parents to remain keep vigil on their children to keep them away from getting trapped in Drug addiction. ��
