Giani Gurbachan Singh Urges Sikh Masses Not to Trust Social Media: No Ban on “Raj Karega Khalsa”

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—The SGPC appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh has urged the worldwide Sikh masses to remain vigilant about the misinformation being spread by the miscreants on social media. Citing the recent case of misinformation spread about the High Court’s ban on the Sikh slogans ‘Bole So Nihal’ and ‘Raj Karega Khalsa’, he had assigned the duty to DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK to analyze this matter and it has come to fore that no ban has been imposed on citing the Sikh slogans.

Further, Giani Gurbachan Singh has also refuted the allegations being leveled on social media about caste based discrimination at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib. He has said that the Sikh masses should remain vigilant about miscreants eager to provoke internecine war in the Sikh community.

Although Giani Gurbachan Singh has stated that there is no ban imposed on “Raj Karega Khalsa”, a video on social media has gone viral in which an Uttrakhand cop is seen snatching Nishan Sahibs from Sikh pilgrims due to the text “Raj Khalsa Khalsa” printed on them.
