FARIDKOT—Family members of Shaheed Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh and Shaheed Bhai Gurjit Singh Nikke Sarawan were honoured by the Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwala on June 19. Notably, the duo Sikh youths had attained martyrdom in an unprovoked firing opened by the Punjab police on peacefully protesting Sikhs on October 14, 2015.
Sharing the development with Sikh24, SYFB’s senior vice president Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal informed that the SAD-BJP led Punjab government had broken out calamity on innocent Sikhs in 2015 to please Sirsa cult disciples.
Hailing the agitation begun by the acting Akal Takht Jathedar Bhai Dhian Singh Mand, he said that the Bhai Mand’s has forced the Punjab government and police to bring the sacrilege culprits to justice.
Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal informed Sikh24 that Baba Harbans Singh Kaar Sewa Wale is constructing a gate in the memory of Shaheed Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh and Shaheed Bhai Gurjit Singh Nikke Sawaran at Behbal Klan.
Giani Simranjit Singh Mann, Bhai Rajinder Singh Rampur, Bhai Karan Singh Nihang, Bhai Sukhraj Singh (son of Shaheed Bhai Krishan Bhagwan Singh) etc. were also present on this occasion.
