:dateline:A Shiromani Akali Dal’s delegation comprising of Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Parliamentarians Balwinder Singh Bhoondarh & Naresh Kumar Gujral, DSGMC president S. Manjit Singh GK and SGPC�s executive member Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka today raked up the burning Sikh issues with the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
The SAD delegation raked up mainly following four issues before the Union Home Minister:
- Indian government�s plea in Punjab & Haryana High Court challenging Amritsar Court�s verdict to compensate Jodhpur detainees with Rupees 4,00,000/-.
- Violence against Sikhs living in Shillong by the Khasi community members.
- Attack on Gurdwara Sri Dongmaar Sahib in Sikkim.
- Issue of Political Sikh prisoners who have already served mandatory terms of their life imprisonments.
Sharing the development with media, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal tried to play a card to earn Sikh sympathy by saying that they have asked the Union government to expose Congress� planning in committing third holocaust of June-1984 by importing declassified files from the UK.
When a reporter asked her about Subramanian�s demand from the Indian government to declassify files pertaining to the June-1984 holocaust, she tried to escape by saying that every Indian was aware of the reality of the June-1984 holocaust carried out by the then Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Commenting on the issue of Referendum-2020, Harsimrat Kaur Badal claimed that the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) was operating on the funds being availed by the Pakistan�s Intelligence agency ISI. She challenged the SFJ leaders to take the views of Punjab masses rather than provoking sentimental youths while sitting thousands of miles away from Punjab.
Typical for these politicians to blame anyone fighting for human rights as agents of Pakistan. It is stupid of Sikhs to expect any justice from any Indian Govt. Genocide of Sikhs was carried out with collusion of all Congress BJP etc. These so called representative of Sikhs have sold their soul to BJP and don’t represent Sikhs. They were in power along with BJP in Punjab and did nothing for Sikhs. Surat Singh another american citizen is on hunger strike for past three years for release of Sikh prisoners: did anyone of these fake Sikhs visited him.
