Sacrilege Culprits likely to be produced before Court on June 19

:dateline:The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Punjab police headed by DIG Ranbir Singh Khatra submitted copies of the investigation report about sacrilege incidents of Bargari to the CBI team and the Punjab government appointed Justice Ranjit Singh led Investigation Commission on June 17.

It is pertinent to note here that the Punjab police claims of having cracked the conspiracy behind sacrilege incidents of Bargari and Burj Jawahar Singh Wala occurred in 2015 by arresting 9 Sirsa cult disciples.� �

 

Sharing the development with media, DIG Ranbir Singh Khatra informed that the CBI team led by S.P.R Chakravarthy has arrived in Moga to gather details from the Punjab police. He further informed that Justice Ranjit Singh has also called him to get further details related to the issue and he will appear before Justice Ranjit Singh in coming days.

 

Sources have informed that the SIT has held Mohinder Pal Bittu guilty as a chief conspirator in stealing of the holy corpus of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from village Burj Jawahar Singh on June 1, 2015 and then scattering the sacred �Angs� at Bargari on October 12, 2015.

 

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the sacrilege culprits might be produced before the Court in Moga on June 19 and the CBI is likely take away Mohinder Pal Bittu & other Sirsa cult disciples for investigation.
