SGPC asks Punjab Government to Pay Attention towards Maintenance of Heritage Walk Street

:dateline:In a press note shared with Sikh24, SGPCs Additional Secretary S. Diljeet Singh Bedi has appealed the Punjab government to pay attention for maintenance of Heritage Walk Street. He has said that the Congress led Punjab government is depicting totally ignorant behavior towards the Heritage Walk Street due to which it is losing its beauty day by day.

Bedi has said that the cleansing system for Heritage Walk Street has gone worst at present and the shopkeepers are damaging the beauty of street by placing their shop items outside their shops. Stray dogs moving openly in the Heritage Walk Street have also become a big problem for devotees who come to pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib from various corners of the world he added.

Bedi further said that the Punjab government needs to direct the concerned department and if the Punjab government cant manage the Heritage Walk Street then it might ask the SGPC for managing it.
