:dateline:The Union government of India has lifted Goods & Services Tax on �langar� in an indirect manner. It is learnt that the Indian government will reimburse the GST under �Sewa Bhoj Yojna� to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee to offset the Goods and Services Tax on �langar�.
Sources have informed that the Union government of India has lifted GST on all the religious or non-religious bodies serving free food.
�Every paisa collected through GST on Langar will be returned by Government of India� wrote Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal while sharing the development with her followers.
