:dateline:SGPC president S. Gobind Singh Longowal has strongly condemned the murder of human rights activist S. Charnjit Singh in Peshawar. He has said that the murder of Charnjit Singh signifies the insecure status of Sikhs in the Islamic State of Pakistan.
Notably, 52 years old Charnjit Singh was shot dead on May 29 inside his store situated in Scheme Chowk area lying on the outskirts of Peshawar.
Asking the Pakistan government to bring culprits to justice at the earliest, Longowal said that if the Pakistan government fails in putting control over such incidents then it might cause Sikhs to live under panic in the Islamic state.
