AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—A Damdami Taksal’s delegation comprising of Giani Parwinder Pal Singh, Giani Hardeep Singh Anandpur Sahib and Prof. Sarchand Singh today submitted a memorandum to SGPC appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh seeking action against Bhai Amrik Singh Chandigarh. In memorandum, they have also accused Bhai Amrik Singh of addressing dubiety promoting discourse.
Trio of them further claimed that the preachment of Bhai Amrik Singh Chandigarh could lead the Sikh masses towards an untoward environment in future if it’s not controlled by time. They also challenged Bhai Amrik Singh Chandigarh to have an open debate about his “wrong” comments about Gurbani, history and chiefs of Damdami Taksal in the presence of Sikh sangat.
They also accused Bhai Amrik Singh Chandigarh of doubtful preachment about Sikh traditions, Sikh principles, Sikh code of conduct, Sikh Kakaar (symbol of Sikh faith), Amrit, Amrit Sarovar, dip in holy pond of Sri Harmandir Sahib near Dukh Bhanjni Beri, Sikh history, Gurdwara Bhora Sahib of Baba Bakala etc.
The delegation urged Giani Gurbachan Singh to summon Bhai Amrik Singh Chandigarh and take action against him.
Bhai Amrik Singh Chandigarh was attacked at Southall’s Park Avenue Gurdwara on May 7.
