In the hymn from which this line is lifted, we are reminded of the gifts we have received from the Divine. Water is one such gift for which we have to be grateful. The premium we place on it needs to be demonstrated by the way we use it. We should ensure that it is not wasted.�

Have we given this natural resource the appreciation it deserves? Do we appreciate the ease with which it is available to us in our homes? Shouldn�t it be conserved and used more sensibly – as it is finite? What will be the consequences if it dries up?
