JALANDHAR, Punjab—25th martyrdom anniversary of former Babbar Khalsa activist Shaheed Bhai Raminderjit Singh Tainee and his wife Shaheed Bibi Manjit Kaur Babbar was observed at Gurdwara Singh Sabha of Jalandhar on March 5. Following the culmination of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Raagi Jatha of Bhai Karnail Singh delighted the Sikh masses with melodious Kirtan. 
Dhadi Jatha of Bhai Jaswinder Singh Shant addressed the bravery tales of Shaheed Bhai Raminderjit Singh Tainee to the present attendees and Head Granthi of Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib Giani Harpal Singh addressed the religious discourse on this occasion. Advocate Parminder Singh Dhindsa acted as a stage secretary on this occasion.
A Turban Tying Competition was also held on this occasion in which the Sikh children manifested their skills of tying turbans. Winner children were honored with cash rewards, shields, certificates, Siropaos and medals.
