SGPC to conduct Academic Audit in its two dozen Educational Institutions facing Financial Deficit

ANANDPUR SAHIB, Punjab—Speaking with Sikh24 on February 17, SGPC Director for Education Dr. Jatinder Singh Sidhu said that the SGPC was deliberating upon tackling financial deficit in its about two dozen educational institutions. He informed that the SGPC has currently decided to order an academic audit of these institutions to chalk out future strategy for these institutions.

Dr. Jatinder Singh Sidhu said that these two dozen SGPC run educational institutions were in an unbearable financial deficit due to which the SGPC was forced to take blunt action in this concern. He added that the SGPC will try to make every possible effort to keep these educational institutions running. “The SGPC could also merge these institutions to their nearby institutions if there would be no way out,” he said.

Dr. Sidhu further said that the SGPC will also rationalize the teaching and non-teaching posts in these institutions on the basis of academic audit report so that the unnecessary financial burden on SGPC could be controlled.
