Sacrilege Row: Justice Ranjit Singh led Investigation Commission ready to submit final report

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Investigation Commission led by Justice Ranjit Singh is ready to submit its final report about the serial sacrilege incidents occurred in Punjab. It has come to fore that Justice Ranjit Singh Commission has also covered sacrilege non-Sikh scriptures along with serial desecration episode of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in Punjab.

It has been revealed in the report that Justice Ranjit Singh has sought time from the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for submitting his report of more than 100 pages.

Sikh24 has learned from internal sources that Justice Ranjit Singh commission report will unearth many hidden facts about the sacrilege incidents that occurred two years back which had caused an ultimate administration collapse in Punjab.

Sources have informed that Justice Ranjit Singh recorded versions of about 300 witnesses of these sacrilege incidents occurred in Punjab concerned government officials and the Investigation Commission has found that these sacrilege incidents were a result high level conspiracy to destabilize the then ruling Akali-BJP government in Punjab.   

It may be recalled here that the Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh had appointed Justice Ranjit Singh led Investigation Commission last year to re-probe the serial sacrilege incidents occurred in Punjab during past years. Captain Amarinder Singh had annulled the report submitted by Justice Zora Singh led Investigation Commission by terming it as an inconclusive.
