NEW DELHI—While conducting hearing on a petition in relation to attacks on properties of lawyers in Delhi, a Delhi High Court bench headed by Justices Geeta Mittal and Justice C. Hari Shankar said that denial of justice to the Sikh genocide victims signifies that India’s justice system is on the path of destruction.
The Delhi High bench further said that if the culprits of 1984 Sikh genocide would have been punished quickly after this barbaric carnage, then India would have been a different country today. The bench also expressed concern over the security of common men in India.
The Bench of acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice C. Hari Shankar sought a detailed report from the Delhi police. They instructed the police to file the report within two days so necessary action can be taken without further delay.
A number of attacks have taken place against members of the bar association. Attacks have been launched on their residences and cars. The bench raised concern over rising attacks against those those who have represented a woman lawyer who was assaulted by police officers and dragged out of her house.
India is as corrupt as America. No justice after Sikh Gurus gave their heads for its defence.
Finally the conscious of two judges has awaken let see how long it will last.
