Sarbat Khalsa Supporter Master Johar Singh Appears Before SGPC appointed Takht Jathedars

:dateline:After bringing supporters of Sarbat Khalsa appointed Takht Jathedars face to face with SGPC task force, Master Johar Singh appeared before the SGPC appointed Takht Jathedars at Sri Akal Takht Sahib on January 23 seeking punishment. Master Johar Singh was the president of the Chhota Ghallughara Gurdwara Trust situated at Qadian (Gurdaspur).

After catching of General Secretary Boota Singh with a lady in an intimate position, the SGPC appointed Takht Jathedars had excommunicated Boota Singh and had also summoned Master Johar Singh to appear before Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Master Johar Singh was avoiding appearing before SGPC appointed Takht Jathedars since then. He had also tried to evade the situation by getting punishment from Sarbat Khalsa appointed Takht Jathedars.

He was awarded religious punishment from the podium of Sri Akal Takht Sahib by Giani Gurbachan Singh following a meeting of five Singh Sahibans.

After holding him liable for immoral activities carried out in the Gurdwara premises under his charge on August 11, 2017, Master Johar Singh was directed to perform one-week seva at the sanctum sanctorum Sri Harmandir Sahib.

Each day for an hour, he would clean shoes, wash dishes and perform seva in the langar hall. After that, he would offer �karah parshad� worth Rs 501 and contribute an equal amount to the Guru’s golak after performing ardas.
