:dateline:As per a press note shared by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Sikh24 has been informed that the DSGMC is going to confer ‘Raja Medni Prakash Award’ to the Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He has been chosen for this award due to the extraordinary services offered by the Bihar government for celebrating 350th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Patna.

In a meeting with Nitish Kumar on December 25, Manjit Singh GK apprised him about it and invited him to receive this award in a large level function to be organized by the DSGMC in his honor. GK was accompanying SGPC President Gobind Singh Longowal and Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal while honoring him with ‘Siropao’ at his office in Patna.

It is noteworthy here that Raja Medni Prakash, the King of Nahan province, had offered selfless services to Sri Guru Gobind Singh for 8 months in his kingdom without any desire.
