NIA again takes Jagtar Singh Johal on four days remand by indicting in Ravinder Gosain’s murder case

MOHALI, Punjab—The National Investigation Agency’s official succeeded in getting Jagtar Singh Johal’s four days remand by indicting him in Ravinder Gosain’s murder case on December 22.

Prior to this, Jagtar Singh Johal was sent to judicial custody by the Mohali based Special NIA Court of Additional Session Judge Ms. Anshul Berry in murder case of Shiv Sena leader Durga Prasad Gupta. But the NIA team again arrested him by indicting him in the murder case of Ludhiana based RSS leader Ravinder Gosain.

The NIA officials sought Johal’s 12 days remand in Ravinder Gosain’s murder case claiming that they have obtained solid evidences from Jaggi’s mobile about his link with a Pakistan based persons involved in these killings. Further, the NIA team asked of obtaining information from Jaggi about the channels used in remitting money to India.

Demand of NIA team for further extension in Jaggi’s remand was strongly opposed by the Defense counsel Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur in Court. Submitting an application to the Court, Advocate Manjhpur informed the Court that Jagtar Singh Johal was facing mental stress due to prolonged remand, and he should be entitled to medical checkup from a psychiatrist.

  1. Captain quick to condemn a teenager for using HIS OWN social media platform to speak out against injustice toward a minority Sikh faith, where is his voice when it’s time to speak out against rascist and divisive hate speech by RSS backed speakers.

  2. Pm Captain quick to condemn a teenager if he is speaking on injustice against a minority Sikh faith, but won’t speak a word against bigoted and outright rascist RSS leaders with public hate speech.
