1984 Sikh Genocide: Delhi Gurdwara Leaders Accuse Kejriwal Government of Defending Jagdish Tytler

NEW DELHI—The Delhi State Gurdwara Management Committee has held Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi State government responsible for biased behavior of Forensic Science Lab authorities (situated at Rohini) towards arms dealer Abhishek Verma to defend genocide culprit Jagdish Tytler. Notably, the arms dealer Abhishek Verma has also apprised the Karkardooma Court of unfair and biased behavior of FSL authorities by moving a plea on October 27.

Speaking with Sikh24 on October 28, DSGMC President Manjit Singh GK explained that unrelated questions were posed to arms the dealer Abhishek Verma by the FSL authorities. Accusing the Kejriwal led Delhi State government for objectionable behavior of FSL authorities, GK added that Abhishek Verma has informed the DSGMC via email that he has expressed helplessness to attend the Polygraph test on October 27 due to objectionable questioning by FSL authorities.

Demanding conduction of Lie Detection Test on Abhishek Verma in a reputed organization like AIIMS, Manjit Singh GK further said that several hidden truths about Jagdish Tytler can come to fore if his Lie Detection Test is done properly with an honest approach.

It is pertinent to note here that Abhishek Verma has informed the Court that Senior Scientific Officer asked him to answer totally irrelevant questions to defend the key accused Jagdish Tytler. He told the Court that on October 24 after ousting his lawyer from the Test Room, he was asked questions like “Why do people like you marry twice”, “Why are you after Tytler?” etc.

It may be recalled here that the probing agency CBI had been demanding conduction of Lie Detection test (Polygraph Test) on Jagdish Tytler and arms dealer Abhishek Verma in a case pertaining to killing of three innocent Sikhs in Pulbangash area of Delhi on November 1, 1984. Although Jagdish Tytler was given clean chit thrice in this case but the case was once again reopened with the constitution of Special Investigation Team by the Union government in February 2015.

Initially, the duo accused had refused to undergo ‘Lie Detection Test’ but later Abhishek Verma had told the Court that he was ready to undergo Polygraph test if he will be provided security round the clock.

Although the Court was requested by the probing agency CBI to allow test conduction on Jagdish Tytler, the Court had refused to do so by saying that Tytler can’t be forced to undergo Polygraph test.
