BREAKING: Langaah Excommunicated From Sikh Panth

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—Sarbat Khalsa appointed Takht Jathedars Bhai Dhian Singh Mand, Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala and Baba Baljit Singh Daduwal today excommunicated senior Akali leader Sucha Langaah for his anti-Sikhism activities. The Takht Jathedars took the decision after a deliberation at Sri Akal Takht Sahib today.

In the issued edict, a long list of sins committed by Sucha Langaah is elaborated upon. The edict writes that Langaah committed gross violation of the Sikh code of conduct by taking advantage of a woman in distress and misusing his political position.

The edict signed by Jathedar Dhian Singh Mand, Jathedar Amrik Singh Ajnala, baba Baljit Singh Daduwal, Bhai Major Singh and Bhai Suba Singh directs the Sikh community to socially boycott Langaah.

Sucha Langaah was booked under charges of rape, at the complaint of a resident of village Sohal on September 29. After a video clip of her sexual intercourse with Langah using a hidden camera in May this year, went viral over social media.

In another edict, the Takht Jathedars also excommunicated the Trust Secretary of Gurdwara Ghallughara Sahib Chhamb Kahnuwan, Buta Singh, for physically abusing a woman. Buta Singh had been found guilty by an earlier investigation committee appointed by the Takht Jathedars.

Similarly, the Takht Jathedars have summoned the president of the same Gurdwara Sahib, Master Johar Singh, to present his side of the side story, regarding the violation of Sikh code conduct committed inside the Gurdwara premises.
