High Court Rejects Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s Appeal

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Rape convict and Sirsa cult chief, Gurmeet Ram Rahim has once again been delivered a blow by the Indian judiciary. The Punjab & Haryana High Court has rejected his petition challenging the CBI Court’s verdict against him on some technical objections. It is learnt that the High Court has asked Gurmeet Ram Rahim to again lodge a fresh petition.

Meanwhile, the Punjab & Haryana High Court has also directed the state governments of Punjab and Haryana to constitute two tribunals to ascertain the destruction caused by Sirsa cult disciples after he was convicted in the rape case. The High Court has also directed the Court Commissioner to collect information about the Schools and Hospitals being run by the Sirsa cult.

Sources have confirmed that the Punjab government has submitted its report to Court on the destruction caused by Sirsa cult disciples. It has been revealed in the report that the Sirsa cult disciples caused destruction of Government and non-government property worth more than 2 billion rupees.

    Inquires to all politicians who benefited by this rapist and all those protected him should lose their post and prosecuted without delay.
