Alarming Details Revealed In Gurmeet Ram Rahim Case

CHANDIGARH—A 167 pages report submitted by CBI Court Judge, Jagdeep Singh, contains many shocking revelations about the convicted rapist Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim. The CBI report reveals that 24 female disciples had quit the cult and married, after the release of the initial exposé letter exposing Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s had come to fore in 2002.

The report also showed that well educated female disciples served in the schools during the day and serve as personal sentinels during the night. The CBI had succeeded in locating 18 of 24 female cult disciples and revealed that they didn’t speak out against Ram Rahim to preserve their family integrity and save the family from any backlash.

Also included in the report that a former Sikh freedom fighter of the Khalistan Commando Force, Bhai Gurjant Singh Rajasthani, was a close relative of Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim. Bhai Gurjant Singh Rajasthani, who was martyred by Police in a false encounter.

A former convict of Rohtak jail named Swadesh Kirar has said that the Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim was in extreme state of shock after being sentenced. He has said that Gurmeet Ram Rahim hasn’t properly eaten food and drank water in the jail from August 25 onwards. Swadesh Kirar has been out on bail and was residing in a cell adjacent to the cult leader’s cell.

Swadesh Kirar shared that on August 25, when Ram Rahim was brought to Rohat jail for first time, he looked in dispair and was regularly pleading with jail guards to not confine him in the cell. He added that Ram Rahim was saying to the jail authorities that he won’t be able to survive in the cell. “Gurmeet Ram Rahim was crying and whimpering in night”, said Swadesh Kirar.

He further shared that the prisoners of Rohtak jail faced difficulties because of Ram Rahim’s arrival at Rohtak jail. “All 1500 prisoners were kept confined within their cells for five days due to security concerns and my release was also delayed for five days, despite receiving bail by the courts”, he added.
