—Anshul Chhatrapati said that he salutes the honesty of Justice Jagdeep Singh who didn’t bow to political pressure and dared to bring Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim to justice.
Anshul Chhatrapati, who’s father Ramchandar Chhatrapati had first exposed the Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim by publishing a story a front page on his newspaper and was later assassinated by goons of the Sirsa cult chief, lauded the CBI Court for bringing to justice the Sirsa cult leader. He said that his family had been legally fighting against Ram Rahim for long time and now a ray of hope emerged before them that they will receive justice soon.
The Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) organization also announced they will be honoring the former female Sirsa cult disciples, who have fought a 15 year long legal battle to bring Gurmeet Ram Rahim to justice. Notably, these female cult disciples has written a letter to the then Prime Minister of India Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court, revealing the cult leader’s true persona.
President S. Simranjit Singh Mann said that these female cult disciples were highly appreciable as they fought against the Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in do or die condition. “None of the threats or offers made by Gurmeet Ram Rahim could affect their stance to bring him justice for which they deserve to be honored”, he added.
Appealing for Sirsa cult disciples to come back to Sikhism, Simranjit Singh Mann said that all those cult disciples who will re-adopt Sikhism will be honored by Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar).
