Gurpurb At Nankana Sahib: Passports Required Before August End

AMRITSAR SAHIB, Punjab—The SGPC have issued a notice for Sikh devotees interested in celebrating the 548th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji at his birth place in Pakistan, Nankana Sahib, to submit their passports by August 31.

In a press note shared with Sikh24, the SGPC’s Additional Secretary, Avtar Singh Sainpla has said that the interested devotees can submit their documents at SGPC’s head office, Teja Singh Samundri Hall, in Amritsar Sahib. He has said that an official  SGPC letter would need to be included with an individual’s personal identification (Aadhar Card or Voter Card) and passport.
