Message: Mata Khivi�s Grace
The verse above refers to Mata Khivi, the wife of Guru Angad. She was a virtuous person.
Like a big leafy tree which provides dense shade, Mata Khivi provided solace and comfort to devotees who came to the congregation.
In the congregation, while Guru Angad was providing spiritual guidance to the masses, in the kitchen, Mata Khivi was distributing relishing food to feed the hungry people.
She was also the one who had encouraged Bhai Lehna to render unstinting service to Guru Nanak. When Bhai Lehna became a Guru, like a good life partner, she shared in his responsibilities and duties.
Like Mata Khivi, we also should serve our fellow humans with love and affection unconditionally.
