Later, he met the Superintendent of Sri Guru Ramdas Hospital and doctors involved in treatment of �Charanjit Singh. The hospital’s Superintendent Dr. Baljit Singh shared that the critical period for Charanjit Singh has now passed, and that he is recovering at faster rate than before. �
The incident had occurred on July 2 when Charanjit Singh was cleaning the cauldron with hot water to prepare �Kheer� (rice cooked in sweet milk) on the historic eve of the 411th�anniversary of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. While cleaning the cauldron with hot water, Charanjit Singh had slipped into the cauldron and was scalded severely. He was rescued and rushed to the hospital immediately by SGPC employees.
