:dateline:The 178th�anniversary of the passing of Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh was jointly observed by the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee (PSGPC) and Evacuee Trust Property Board at Dehra Sahib.
Following the culmination of Sri Akhand Path Sahib at the Samadhi (memorial) of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, situated near Gurdwara Dehra Sahib in Lahore, S. Ramesh Singh Arora informed that keeping in view the services of great king of Sikh regime the Pakistani Punjab assembly has decided to rename the building �Shahar Ya Building� to the name of Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
It may be recalled here that a Sikh jatha of more than 200 devotees from India was all set to attend the 178th death anniversary program of the great Sikh king. But the Union government of India had forcibly stopped the Sikh jatha at Attari railway station citing security reasons as the cause.
Our King Ranjit Singh fought the BRITISH Empire and got his kingdom Dismantled.
The dismantling is still going on by Drugs, Debts and polluted air,water and land.
Nation making and breaking are the favourite past time of Empires.
If Nations are pro Empire they are allowed to exist.
If they are hostile to Empire they are dismantled.
So just take it easy.
